Eastern paintings are quite different from the western ones. Compared with western paintings, traditional Chinese paintings are more 2-D like, and much more simple. There is not a lot of details in it. We used brush to draw. The key point is conception. While western style needs much more details in it. It makes the paintings look like a photo. But Chinese paintings are not painted realistically. It is really simple. Just several strokes can finish one painting. Here are some examples.

17-year old magnificent artist--3D Drawing!
These three-dimensional pencil drawings by Chilean artist Fredo are absolutely mind-blowing! The 17-year-old prodigy draws objects that look like they’re about to jump off the page! In fact, by taking pictures of his art at just the right angle, it’s hard to differentiate what’s real and what’s not.
Here, I want to share these amazing works by Fredo. They are so creative and real. When I saw his work, for the first time, i thought he was going to give drawing industry a revolution. So amazing!

Life for Rent 漂泊的心
This is my first blog in English. I do have a blog called Qzone which I used very frequently when I was in China. Here, as my first blog in America, I wanna share with you some pictures I drew for my boyfriend before I came to U.S. I came here 3 years after he did. So there was a three-year separation which was extreme hard time for both of us. We seldom chatted through phones because it was impossible. Sending emails was the way we did to communicate, and we used QQ which was an everyday chatting software in China to video chat now and then. It was an unforgettable miserable period. Finally, we met each other again last year. I know a lot of people cannot maintain relationship with long distance, but we survived. The following pictures were drawn by me for my boyfriend in 2008-2009. It is childish and ignorant, but they do deliver my feelings to him. I am not good at talking even in my own language. I am quiet and cold outside, but the inside is the other way around....
1. The little girl with the hat of a cat is me, and the boy with the hat of a dog is my BF. They were the images I created when I started this. The picture below I was kindda dreaming that I was waiting in the corner which was next to him. As time passed on, we would meet unexpectedly.
2. While I look into the mirror, the image came to sight was not mine. It was him.
3. I would rather become a drop of rain to meet him than sitting around, waiting, waiting, waiting....
4. When we raised up our heads at night, it was fortunate that we could still glance at the same stars, and same sky.
5. The moon was a big, shiny swing in the dream. I wish I could never wake up.
6. We shared the same pair of wings. We can only fly together, but never alone.
7. Here came the joke, I pumped my face up and flew to where he was.
8. There was an old Chinese story tells that, one day, your beloved one will step onto a cloud and pick you to the "happily live after".
9. Every girl was born as an Angel to protect what they love.
10. I love balloons:D
11. Over the rainbow, I perceived hope.
12. My way......
13. Love needs "nutrition" to be fertile.
14. Love is sweet.
15. Love is a puzzle.
16. We lived in different time and space but had the same thing in our minds.
We should cherish what we have. After all that torturing waiting, is there anything left that I cannot tolerate? I heard that people spend 80% of their lifetime, struggling for life. Only 20% left to enjoy and appreciate. It is cruel but one of the merits of mankind. We can get through anything as long as we have faith and dream.
